It is not that popular to have faith in Jesus Christ. Yet when people move around more in the world and we learn more about other cultures, in a way it is easier to admit one has faith in Jesus Christ or some other deity. You are never alone in believing in something greater than us, because the world is right there at your fingertips, where ever you are.
But what it is to have faith? When we talk about having faith in something or believing something, do we mean the same things? Most likely not. For someone faith means believing some kind of God exists. For someone it means following certain rituals but not much thinking about it. For some it means the surety that when you're in trouble, someone will help you. For some faith focuses on what happens after this life, for some it focuses on what happened thousands of years ago.
I feel faith is power. It is something we don't quite understand. Belief is a necessary part of it, as is hope. Faith is not just something that you have or you don't. It is something that exists. When you have the belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Lord of the world, and hope to use the power of faith and trust that God will allow that to happen, faith can work miracles. We can then use the power of faith, not just our own small portion of faith -because it will always be small- by asking God to help and do what needs to be done - if it is according to His will.
Faith in Jesus Christ makes not only my life better, but me too.

The beginning
Not the beginning of the world, not the beginning of me (which actually are part of the same story), but the beginning of the blog.
I believe in discussion. I believe the world needs more of it. I believe true dialogue would help solve many of the problems in the world. I like how they use it in building peace. I like how they use in therapies helping families. I like how many religions use it in their ecumenical work.
I like to be part of making the world better. So I created this and I hope to find others who like to broaden their views and discuss religion and especially faith in Christ. I believe everyone with any faith and everyone with no faith can work together to make this world a better place to be. To be kinder, more understanding, more loving towards each other regardless of where we live and who we interact with.
I know people of different faiths, I know something of their faiths. I know somethings of other faiths too. But most likely not enough and knowing more is always good. So please join the discussion and share your views.
